What We’re Looking For in a Social Media Content Creator:
REQUIRED: Must be local to Greater Salt Lake City Area.
We’re looking for a Part-Time Social Media Content Creator & Visual Storyteller—someone who’s equal parts writer, designer, and video editor. You’ll turn ideas into scroll-stopping posts, videos, and visuals that help our clients shine online.
You should have a strong understanding of how to make content come alive across different platforms, from Instagram Reels and TikToks to Digital graphics and carousel posts. This role is perfect for someone who’s creative, trend-savvy, and enjoys blending words, visuals, and motion to tell meaningful stories.
While most of the work is remote, we need someone based along the Wasatch Front who can occasionally join us for in-person client meetings, event coverage, and photoshoots.
Social Media Content Creator Key Responsibilities:

- Video Editing: Edit short-form videos and reels that align with brand tone and storytelling goals (mobile and desktop-based editing).

Graphic Design: Create branded graphics, carousels, and promotional visuals in Canva or similar design tools.

Copywriting: Write engaging, platform-optimized captions and content for Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and TikTok.

Trend Research: Stay current on social trends, audio, and hashtags to keep our clients’ content fresh and relevant.

Content Scheduling: Manage and schedule posts for a consistent, polished online presence.

Engagement: Monitor, engage, and respond to audiences with brand-aligned messaging.

Performance Reporting: Track performance metrics and share key insights with the team and clients.

Event Coverage: Capture quick on-site photo or video moments for social content.

Collaboration: Work closely with copywriters, strategists, and account managers to ensure content aligns with each client’s goals.
- Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in social media content creation and strategy

Strong skills in video editing (Reels/TikToks) and graphic design (Canva or Adobe tools)

Excellent writing and editing abilities

Understanding of social media trends and best practices

Experience using scheduling tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Later, or similar)

Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented multitasker

Excellent communication skills with both clients and team members

Basic cell phone photography/videography skills

Some flexibility for occasional evenings, weekends, or travel for events
- MUST BE LOCAL TO GREATER SALT LAKE CITY AREA. Other candidates will not be considered.
