Monarca Named Recipient of Elle Marketing and Events’ 2025 Grant for Growth
Modern Mexican restaurant to receive $20,000 in customized marketing services.
Salt Lake City, UT — Elle Marketing and Events is thrilled to announce Monarca, a modern Mexican restaurant located in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City, as the winner of the 2025 Grant for Growth.
Founded by Claudia and Chef Alfonso Brito, Monarca has quickly become a destination for refined, soulful interpretations of traditional Mexican cuisine. With scratch-made nixtamal tortillas using organic heirloom corn from Oaxaca, locally sourced ingredients, and a deep commitment to hospitality, Monarca offers a vibrant and elevated dining experience that honors both heritage and innovation.

Monarca will receive hands-on support from the Elle Marketing team, including a full marketing analysis, strategic consulting, content creation, social media implementation, and more. The partnership comes at a pivotal time for the restaurant, as Chef Alfonso Brito expands his culinary vision while undergoing professional training at Cocina Hermanos Torres, a three-Michelin-starred restaurant in Barcelona, Spain.
Now in its third year, Elle Marketing and Events’ Grant for Growth was created to give back to Utah’s small business community by providing high-level marketing services to businesses poised for growth. The program is designed for passionate business owners who have built something meaningful and are ready to take their brand to the next level.
