About Taqueria 27

Taqueria 27 is not your typical taco joint. Their inspiration comes from a global pantry and countless hours spent in the kitchens of some of Salt Lake City’s most notable restaurants. Their food is made from scratch, and you’ll find traditional flavors alongside some decidedly nontraditional ingredients like pork belly or duck confit tacos.

They are known for their large selection of quality tequilas and mezcals – along with their delicious margaritas to go with them. So naturally when they wanted to showcase their unique brand and delicious food, they wanted great photography.

The Challenge

Elle Marketing started as the marketing, PR, and events manager for Taqueria 27 before they launched their 5th location. From there, they brought us on as their full time marketing agency. We built their social media profiles, managed the social media ads and content, and eventually added photography to showcase their beautiful food.

Good photos are the key to great storytelling and painting a picture of the food experience for customers that might not even know what to expect in a non-traditional taqueria. We wanted to highlight the difference and the quality.

Our Photography Strategy

We wanted to capture styled food in a dynamic background for Taqueria 27, showing dips, drips, and dunks, as well as beautifully styled finished produce.
Our goal is to highlight quality of the ingredients and set this taco joint apart from competitors

We hired Elle Marketing to help with a restaurant launch and loved working with them so much that we brought them on to help support everything from all our digital marketing, our website, and event special events and photography. They helped us through the pandemic and supported us in making decisions for the brand.
