What We’re Looking For:

We’re on the hunt for a Part Time Social Media Copywriter who’s not just good with words but a skilled storyteller. Someone who understands the nuances of different social platforms and can create content that resonates with diverse audiences. You should be trend-savvy, hashtag-smart, and have a knack for sourcing images that speak louder than words. While most of the work is remote, we are looking for a copywriter along the Wasatch Front in Utah who can occasionally participate during in-person client meetings or photoshoots. We are looking for team members who are proficient in Instagram, Facebook, and Google My Business, with TikTok and Pinterest as bonus platforms. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing Strategy: Dive deep into our clients’ brand stories and marketing strategies to ensure every post aligns with their vision.
  • Copywriting: Craft compelling, platform-specific content that engages and inspires. (Key platforms: Facebook, Instagram – potential for – Pinterest/TikTok)
  • Researching Trends & Hashtags: Stay ahead of social trends and hashtags to keep our content fresh and relevant.
  • Sourcing Images: Find or create visuals that complement your copy and strengthen the message.
  • Basic Graphic Design: Designing basic graphics for social media posts in Canva.
  • Scheduling Posts: Manage and schedule content across various platforms to ensure a consistent online presence.
  • Monitoring & Engagement: Keep an eye on the performance of posts, engage with the audience, and tweak strategies as needed.
  • Reporting: Regularly update the team and clients on content performance and insights.
  • Ad-hoc Tasks: Assist in other social media and marketing tasks as required.
  • Able to Work Partially Remote & Partially On Site of Client Facing, 20 hours a week
  • Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in social media strategy and copywriting
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a sharp eye for detail
  • Strong research skills and an ability to identify trends
  • Proficiency in social media scheduling tools
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills with the team and clients 
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to use Canva as a basic graphic design tool
  • Basic cell phone photography skills
  • We mostly work M-F, but occasional evenings and weekends may be necessary based on our event schedule
